During foaling season our foals are clipped
out to show their patterns and body type as they get to be a few months old. The
change can be quite dramatic from their fluffy coat to their sleek clipped coat.
Let us know which horses you are considering and we will try to get them clipped
and their new photos on line as soon as possible.

 The epitome of a
black stallion, this magnificent stallion arrived just in time for
Valentine's Day in 2006.
Complete with a large heart shaped star. He has a beautiful dishy Arabian
head, tipped in ears, large brown
eyes, and what a terrific refined body! His sire,
Color Prints, is homozygous for
black, and is a frame sabino pinto.
His grandsire is LTD Magic Man, sire of our stallion Magic Man's Color
Prints. Magic Man has won numerous halter, multi-color, and driving classes. His
dam is Blossom, a stunning black, blue-eyed mare that we love.
He is ready for
a herd of his own. He has a gentle temperament
and should add refinement to his offspring.
 His dam, Blossom,
is the daughter of Bar Ls Dazzling Dude, a tovero show stallion that won
many awards in both halter and multi-color stallion. Blossom also has the
Fishers line, known for their driving horses. It is no wonder that this
horse has incredible movement. Valentino has tested homozygous for black. He
can never produce a chestnut foal no matter what mare he is bred to.
He would be an excellent choice for those wanting to bring black and bay
into their breeding program. He has been
successfully bred to several of our favorite overo pinto mares for 2009
foals.

 Bandit
has a beautiful head with huge eyes, a nice clean neck and throat latch, a
flat topline and a wonderful tail set. A blue blooded pedigree matches this
colts conformation. Both his
dazzling blue eyes are surrounded by that
incredible black eyeliner
pigment and a wonderful mask. His sire is
Top Cat, our bay sabino stallion, and his dam is Strawberry, a red
frame overo pinto. This
eyeliner is a sabino trait and is often passed on to their offspring.
Sabinos add pizzazz to a frame tobiano pinto breeding program.

  When
Moonlighting was foaled he appeared to be a solid white (we have the
photos to prove it!). Much to our surprise when we clipped him out a few months later we uncovered
large charcoal black spots on his flank, belly, back right
leg, and in his right ear, under the
all that baby white. Proving once again that breeding horses for color
is always a learning experience, and certainly entertaining! This is
the third colt we have had by our bay frame sabino stallion, Color
Prints, and our mare Pacific Liberty, a jet black tobiano pinto mare.
Two great pedigrees and outstanding conformation have produced another
exceptional foal. This colt is a powerhouse of color, and
will be an ideal horse to bring both color and refinement into a future
breeding program.

 Jazz is a
stunning colt with all the pizzazz to win in the show ring and then
produce for you in the breeding shed. He has excellent leg to body
proportions, a refined body, awesome head and neck, and that incredible
color! This was a long
awaited Canterbury All That Jazz foal. We found his sire on a Lil
Beginnings ad when he was just a couple weeks old and anxiously awaited
his weaning and arrival. Now three years later his first son has been
born. This little guy was defiantly worth the wait! He received the blue
eyes from his dam Pacific Cloud Nine. He has a refined
body, an Arabian
head, and tiny tipped in
ears along with a dramatic color
pattern. The combination of the jet black
hair and the blue eyes makes his
eyes dazzle. This
colt is staying small. Both
sire and dam are homozygous tobianos (they can never produce a solid

those with discriminating taste, this is a complete package; both
conformation and color. And those incredible tipped in ears! What a show
stopper. Born on Friday the 13th, with a sire named Black Magic,
and he is the 13th foal of the year! Are we pleased? You bet we are! Definitely
a Lucky 13 for us! The sire is a solid jet black. 100% of the
color pattern you see on this colt is coming from his dam "Joy"! We
believe this colt is carrying the frame (LWO),
sabino, and tobiano genes. We will be
testing him once he is old enough to verify this and will update the
website once we know. This colt has beautiful cheek bones already!
