Canterbury All That Jazz  33.25 (Perm)
Jet Black Homozygous Tobiano Pinto Stallion  Foaled 3/27/04.
AMHA # 151158, AMHR #248206T

Jazz is a spectacular stallion that we discovered on an internet ad when he was only two weeks old. Bred by Nancy and Don Richey of Canterbury Farm in Mississippi, he arrived at Pacific Pintos just after he was weaned. He was sired by the late Vermilyea Farms Renegade, a jet black homozygous tobiano pinto stallion, and out of Bryland Farms Pocket Money, a chestnut tobiano pinto mare. This stallion has received the refinement from both parents, and the exquisite head and neck of his sire. Jazz will always produce tobiano pinto foals no matter what mare he is bred to.

This stallion demands attention from all that see his dazzling "ink spots".  We enjoy watching his every move. He is like an art painting in motion. His first foal was born in October of  2007 and he was worth the wait. You can see Pacific Spotacular Jazz on our Stallion / Colt Sale page. To say we are looking forward to more of his foals is an understatement. We have been watching this magnificent stallion since he was a foal, and it is a pleasure to see what he is producing. Look for his 2008 foal crop on our "New Arrivals" page.

Sire:  Vermilyea Farms Renegade
Dam: Bryland Farms Pocket Money

Pacific Mad Hatter  31 inches  (03/09)
Jet Black Frame Tobiano Tovero Pinto Stallion, with Blue Eyes.  Foaled 5/16/04. AMHA # 151257.

This spectacular stallion is out of Las Doradas Tiffany's Lace, our jet black tobiano pinto mare, and by Pacific Justin Time, our black frame overo pinto stallion. He has an awesome body, elegant movement, with a beautiful medicine hat head, and tiny muzzle. His small size, spectacular color, and ultra-refined Thoroughbred body are a wonderful sight to see. Combining both the frame and the tobiano gene, he is a fabulous combination of conformation and color. In 2008 Mad Hatter stepped up and took his sire's place on our breeding farm. With his easy going nature, both the mares and foals adore him.

His pedigree includes: Bond Commodore, Gold Melody Boy, Van Los Paleface, Sugar Creek, Johnstons, Mylers, Sample, Shadow Oaks, and Shady Acres .

He was tested at U.C. Davis and found to carry the frame (LWO) and the Tobiano gene.

Nostalgias Dirty Money  aka  "Monet" 32.00 inches (5/09)
Black Sabino Overo Pinto Stallion, with Blue Eyes. Foaled 6/6/07
Homozygous for Black.  AMHA  #
181199

After acquiring our first pure sabino overo pinto stallion a few years ago, we were convinced that a sabino overo pinto would play an intricate role in our breeding program. Alas, the first pure sabino stallion we found was a half brother of our frame overo pinto stallion "Prints" and we were only able to use him on a limited amount of mares.  We have been searching for several years to find the perfect match for our frame overo pinto mares, and finally found it in this stallion.  Bred by Earlene and Thomas Roberts of Nostalgias Farm in Kentucky," Monet" is a direct son of Nostalgias Show Me The Money (aka "Shamu"). This colt has the refined body and elegant movement, combined with an outstanding pedigree that we look for in our stallions. His sire "Shamu" is an AMHA National Champion Stallion, who has produced 17 AMHA World National Grand Champions foals. Shamu is a black splashed white sabino (sb1) pinto stallion. Monet's dam, Tuckers Voo Doo Magic, is a black sabino pinto mare. Monet has been lab tested and is homozygous for black (He can never have a red foal no matter what mare he is bred to). We hope to breed him to a few of our outstanding frame overo mares for 2010 foals. We wish to thank Earlene, Tom, and especially Natalie who was an enormous help, for allowing us to purchase this fine stallion.

His pedigree includes: Nostalgias Show Me The Money, Cajun Rebel, Flying W Farms, Tuckers, LTD's Magic Man,  Kraus Kings, Kays, Shredder, Kobecks, and Samples.

Monet was tested at Animal Genetics and is Sabino (sb1) positive, Frame (LWO) negative, and is homozygous for black (he can never have a red foal no matter what mare he is bred to).

Cross Country Blue Moon 30.50 inches  (2/09)
Buckskin Homozygous Tobiano Colt, with Blue Eyes.  Foaled 11/12/07.

We have always adored blue-eyed buckskins. In 2008 we had the opportunity to acquire a refined colt that would infuse some new outside blood into our breeding program. We have admired the Cross Country horses for some time. This colt joins another blue-eyed buckskin, Cross Country Tequila Sunrise, in our future breeding line up. He is a grandson of Lazy N Red Boy and great grandson of Rowdy. Lazy N Red Boy's get include a significant number of National, Grand, and Reserve Champions. His dam, Cross Country Miss Amy, is a spectacular buckskin tobiano pinto. Miss Amy has had an impressive show career, and is the daughter of the stunning award winning Cross Countrys Rowdys Reflection. Blue Moon is a rich, deep buckskin color, with black eyeliner around both beautiful blue eyes. He is a wonderful, refined colt that we think will be a bonus to our breeding program. He has tested homozygous for tobiano pinto. He can never have a solid foal no matter what mare he is bred to. Our thanks to Belinda Bagby for allowing us to acquire this handsome colt.

Blue Moon tested Homozygous for the Tobiano Pinto gene, and negative for the Frame Overo (LWO) gene.

Sire: Cross Country The Wizard
Dam: Cross Country Miss Amy
