Hope has been a wonderful addition to our breeding program. She carries both the tobiano and the splashed white overo pinto genes. This little mare surprised us by testing homozygous for tobiano! She will always pass on a tobiano pinto gene no matter what stallion she is bred to. We believe she also carries the splashed white gene from her sire which provides additional white in her coat. Her unusual coloring was found to be caused by a single cream gene that turns her black patch to a mocha color. She also has jet black in her tail and a partial jet black right ear. We thought at first she was a buckskin. But further dna testing revealed she was a black (aa). Some have thought she was a grulla, but that the white covers the typical grulla markings. She has produced a grulla filly. Her iridescent color may be caused by the dun gene, which is hidden by her extensive white. Her sire, Medicine Man, is a loud, jet black, splashed white and tobiano tovero pinto. Her dam, Dancing Cloud, is also a loud pinto and either a roan or a sabino tobiano, that carries the dilution gene which she passed on to Hope. Bred by Robyn and Terry Stieve of Lil Miracle Miniatures, Hope came to us from Irene Joyce in Michigan. Hope has been tested and is Black (aa), Homozygous for Tobiano (TT), carries a single Cream gene (nCr); and is negative for the Frame (LWO), Sabino, Champagne, Pearl, and the Silver genes. Benchmark My Darling Clementine

Clementine has proven herself to be a real asset to our breeding program. As a solid black mare she is versatile in being able to be bred to any of our pinto stallions. And as a homozygous for black mare we know she will never produce a red foal no matter what stallion she is bred to. Clementine is three quarters Bond breeding tracing back to Bond Commodore, Bond Jocko, and Bond Showboy. Her sire, Bond Famas Amos, is a jet black tobiano pinto, grandson of Bond Showboy. Her dam, Sugar Creek Silver Belle, is a solid silver dapple daughter of Bond Commodore. Clementine has produced several beautiful frame overo pinto foals for us and is a sweet mare. Her correct body and legs are a great asset to a breeding program. While she is one of our smaller mares, she has excellent leg to body proportions, and passes on this trait to her foals. Her large, dreamy brown eyes, dishy head, beautiful cheeks, and muzzle are a lovely sight to behold. Clementine has been bred to our herd sire Magic Mans Color Prints (a AMHA and AMHR National Champion LTDS Magic Man son). This breeding cross has been so successful that we have bred her to this stallion three times before and it has proven to be an exceptional cross producing three frame sabino pintos. She has had no problems foaling and is a superb mom. Her pedigree traces back to a number of famous Bond stallions including Bond Commodore, as well as his sire Bond Showboy. Showboy was the sire of a number of AMHA Grand National, National, and Reserve National Champions including the renown Bond A Toy 4 U C, and Bond Snippet. Clementine is one of many quality horses that were bred by Lynda Marzec of Sugar Creek Farms that we are lucky to have in our breeding stock. Clementine has been tested and is homozygous for black. Evette is a double bred frame overo, (both her sire and dam are frame overo pintos). Her sire is La Vista Brilliant Remark, a chestnut Frame Overo Pinto, by La Vista Remarkables Remarkable, a Rowdy grandson, with solid Bond on his dam's side. La Vista Brilliant Remark now lives in the United Kingdom at Birchwood Farm. Her dam is Ashley Acres Eve Was Framed, a black Frame Sabino Pinto, with a Lazy Acres, Ohios, and Dell Teras linage. Ashley Acres Eve Was Framed is currently owned by Reece's Miniature Horses. Evette is a sweet mare with lots of black pigment around her face and black eyeliner around both blue eyes. Due to the sabino trait she has white hairs interspersed in her coat giving a roan - like appearance. Though Evette is a classic medicine hat frame sabino, the significant white hairs in her coat are hard to capture in a photo unless she is in the shade. Evette came to our ranch as a three year old and had her first foal the following year. She has been bred to two different solid black stallions and has produced three pintos; three frame overo foals, and one sabino overo foal. She is very strong for the overo pinto traits. Diva has the correct pedigree, conformation, and color sought after in a serious breeding program. As Diva has matured she has acquired roaning throughout her coat, as well as extensive cobwebbing pattern along her back and sides. She is nice mare, with a pretty head, large expressive eyes, and beautiful cheeks. She has a flat topline, a nice tailset, and fabulous action! Though she appears to be a jet black, she has been tested and is genetically a bay. You can just see some brown on her muzzle. This is an eye catching, stunning mare. Victoria's Secret is an amazing yearling filly both in conformation and color. She has the most wonderful, deep bay coloration. A stunning head, tiny muzzle, and her dam's ice blue eyes surrounded by a rich mahogany bay that intensifies the blue eyes even more. The star on her forehead is heart shaped! Her black points are jet, non-fading black. She has a beautiful white color pattern which is balanced on both sides. Jasmine is our first filly of 2011, and our first foal by Nostalgias Dirty Money "Monet"! What an awesome beginning to Monet's foaling season! ! Her sire is a spectacular black splashed white sabino overo pinto with blue eyes, who is also homozygous for black. Jasmine appears to have received a copy of all her parents color genes; Tobiano, Splashed White, and Sabino pinto genes. Her base color is black based on her genetic testing results. Her dam is Lil Miracle Hopes and Dreams, a smoky black tobiano splashed white tovero pinto. She is absolutely pure white with not a spot of any color to give us a clue as to her genetics. Thank goodness for genetic testing! This filly is elegance in motion. She is certainly going to be a powerhouse of color to a pinto breeding program. She is the perfect example of what the AMHA registry notes as "solid white". She is not a cremello, as she does not carry the cream gene. With dazzling blue eyes and an outstanding body and conformation she is a real head turner.
